Privacy notice
Last updated:
This notice explains what personal information this website collects, why, how long it is kept and what you can do about it. It is written to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
1.Who is responsible
Precision Golf Technologies, with its head office in Angeles City, Pampanga, is the personal information controller for the data described here. The company is in the process of registration; the controller's registration details and the contact point for data protection matters will be published on this page as soon as they are issued.
2.What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form or the newsletter form: your name, email address, and optionally your mobile number and the name of your club, facility or company, together with the enquiry type and message you write. We do not use advertising trackers, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not buy or sell contact data.
3.Why we collect it
To read your enquiry and reply to it, to keep a record of what was discussed if the enquiry becomes an engagement, and — if you subscribed — to send you the updates you asked for. That is the whole purpose.
4.The basis for processing
Your consent, given by ticking the box on the enquiry form or by subscribing to the newsletter. You may withdraw it at any time, and withdrawal does not affect anything lawfully done before you withdrew.
5.Who sees it
The people at PGTI who need it to answer you, and the service providers that operate our website and messaging infrastructure under contract. We do not disclose enquiry details to anyone else unless the law requires it.
6.How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within twelve months. Where an enquiry becomes an engagement, the record is retained for as long as the commercial relationship requires and for the period Philippine tax and accounting rules require afterwards. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
7.Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you may ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, object to its processing, ask for it to be erased or blocked, obtain a copy in a portable form, and complain. You may also complain directly to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
8.How to exercise them
Send the request through the enquiry form or any direct channel listed on the contact page, stating what you want done. We will confirm receipt and act within the period the law allows.
9.Security
The site is served over HTTPS, submissions are validated on the server, and the details you send are transmitted to us over an encrypted channel. Access is limited to the people who need it.
10.Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes to how we use enquiry data will be described here rather than made quietly.
